I am originally from Brazil and have been living in New Zealand since February 2016. I came here for a career break and ended up staying because of the culture and beautiful scenery.

I contributed to designing, developing, and maintaining websites and applications tailored to diverse client needs. My role involved both front-end and back-end development, utilising technologies such as SilverStripe, Laravel, Astro, Tailwind, Vue.js, and Docker. I also collaborated closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions to their challenges.

As a Summer Intern, I developed the internal communication intranet using SharePoint as the primary platform. My role included integrating Microsoft 365 group frameworks like PowerApps and Power Automate to streamline processes and enhance intranet features. I consistently communicated with employees to understand their needs and implemented functionalities that improved their intranet experience.

For my final project for my Diploma in Web and UX Design, I created a UX case study, user documentation, and a four-page WordPress website with a WooCommerce shop for the South Island Wildlife Hospital. Recognising the potential benefits, I offered to redesign additional pages and implement changes based on their feedback. I also created a WordPress website with a customised admin area for the staff and implemented a shop using WooCommerce for fundraising. Since then, I have continued to support their website as a volunteer, driven by my passion for helping this incredible organisation.
I redesigned the South Island Wildlife Hospital's website, conducting UX research, documentation, and development to create an intuitive donation system. The goal was to increase donor engagement, raise funds for vital resources, and raise awareness of environmental factors affecting native wildlife care. Additionally, I handled the CMS and e-commerce integration.
I contributed to the development of Cera, an MVP application for pottery enthusiasts in New Zealand. I handled the database design using MongoDB, contributed to the coding and design, and conducted UX research and documentation. The project followed Agile methodology, with daily meetings and task tracking to ensure efficient progress.
